Dr. Alex Soroceanu earned her medical degree at McGill University in Quebec completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, and a fellowship in adult spine surgery at New York University. She also completed a Master’s of Public Health at Harvard University, Boston. She joined the spine faculty at the University of Calgary in 2014, where she is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor.

She has been collaborating with the ISSG since 2013.
